My Story
It was a sunny afternoon in California where a guy called Joe who is 17 years old from Mexico that immigrated to United States with his family which is his grandmother, Father, and little brother. His dad works on cutting grass,and he is also a Landscaper . His daily routine was school in the morning, help his dad at work, afternoon play soccer with his team. One day he was in a hurry to his soccer game he got there and the were losing 1-0 and his team didn’t have a lot of players and were playing 11 v 9.
When he got in now they were playing 11v10 Joe was a player that was very creative with the ball always scored, gave assists, and the people liked to watch him play because of how good he is he was playing and scored which caught a person to watch him play and he was a player from the English team called Manchester United. He saw him play till the game finished and Joe’s team won by a lot then the ex Manchester United soccer player came up to him to tell him that he say a very good played very good and offered hi to play with his former club Manchester United it was like a dream to Joe to be asked if he wanted to play professionally because when he said he dreamt that his dad always crushed his dream. The next day Joe was at church and the ex Manchester United player was their asking Joe if he was going to Europe to make the team and his Dad said no which was heartbreaking for Joe. They left the church because the former Manchester was going to take a flight to Manchester,United Kingdom where the team is located.
A day passed and his dad has gone to work then his grandmother told Joe to come to the kitchen where she had money with a flight ticket to England he said no I can’t take this but his grandmother said “Take your chances”. He left California and took a train to Dallas,Texas where then they asked him for his papers but he was an immigrant and told him he was going to play for Manchester United and told him about the Former player and they let him pass he took the plane to Manchester, United Kingdom where he met the former player. He went to a couple practices where he didn’t do that good. The reason why is because he had asthma but he didn’t know so the doctor gave him an inhaler and told him to use it when he was going to play or practice.
The next practice he had he had put that inhaler on and he showed talent on the pitch so then for the rest of the week he had shown potential. Which made the coaches have more trust on him so Joe played games with the reserves. They won three of their four game which is very good and in all of them Joe scored which was impressive for a young player like him.
A week before
Joe’s dad found out that he went to Europe he got mad and he has called his grandmother and Brother talk to him except for his dad. His dad also got mad at him because instead of helping out he had chosen his dream.
It was the big game where they would have to face their enemies which was Liverpool Fc to go to the Champions League. He started on the bench he was pretty neverous and his family was watching the game. Manchester United took the lead 1-0 but by the end of second half they were losing 1-2. Until in the 53rd minute the tell Joe to warm up the game was getting intense and Manchester tee United SCORED 2-2. Joe comes in plays very well Manchester United and Liverpool Fc has created chances but haven’t took them. Until in the last minute in extra time 2-2 they fouled Joe they give the ball to Joe so he can take the free kick it was all in his hands. He thought about his Dad he shot it and scored after that the game ended. He was very happy his Family called him saying he did very well. He was doing well until they said “Joe I need to speak to you for a second”. He was confused it was his family telling him the his dad had died. He was sad but a couple years after he was playing for his home nation The Mexican National Team.
